PM Modi has reacted on Subramanian Swamy’s remarks on Reserve Bank of India governor Raghuram Rajan and has said that the remarks are inappropriate and anyone who consider himself “bigger than system is wrong”.

PM Modi said, “Whether it is in my party or not, still I think such things are inappropriate. This fondness for publicity is never going to do any good to the nation. People should conduct themselves with utmost responsibility”.

PM Modi asserted the comments in preview of an interview to Times Now scheduled to be telecast at 6 PM on today.

By Praising Raghuram Rajan PM Narendra Modi said, “My experience with him has been good and I appreciate the work he has done. He is no less patriotic. He loves India. Wherever he will work, he will work for India and he is patriotic.”

Earlier Swamy had alleged that Raghuram Rajan being a US Green Card holder is working for US and he is “mentally not fully Indian”.

Along with Rajan Swamy had also questioned the integrity of Chief Economic Adviser Arvind Subramanian and alleged that he acted against India’s interest when he was in the United States and due to him Congress became rigid on the proposed Goods and Services Tax.

Modi, on these comments of Swamy said, “My message is very clear. I have no confusion about it.”
