West Bengal issues notice to Hindu schools

In a bizarre act West Bengal government has issued notice to Hindu schools for teaching Hindu ideology, while madrasas which are teaching hatred towards other religions are spared and supported with the tax payers money, because of vote banks politics.

“The West Bengal government has served a notice to 125 schools for allegedly promoting religious intolerance. Ninety-six of the 125 schools did not have necessary permits from the government,” said West Bengal Education Minister Partha Chatterjee.

"This is the first phase of the investigation. We are identifying those schools and if they are teaching on the lines of religious doctrines they will be stopped," Mr Chatterjee said.

It is an irony that people of Hindu community does not have the right to teach their children about Hindu culture. Since Hindus do not have a vote bank the political parties ignore and deny any support to the Hindu community. It is being said that, it is not far that West Bengal is going to become a place that will be governed by the draconian religious law and deny all the rights to the other community.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamatha Banerjee is hell bound to appease the minority community and destroy the integrity of the country.
