US Lawmakers Supports India’s Surgical Strike On Terrorists Camps In Pakistan

After the Indian Army conducted surgical strikes on terrorist camps across the Line of Control, Indian were overjoyed and appreciated Indian Army’s action over terrorism. Along with it, the US lawmakers also supported India’s decision of conducting aggressive surgical strikes on terrorists camps in Pakistan.
The Congressman Steny Hoyer, Democratic Whip in the US House of Representatives, through Twitter said,
Uri attack against India was horrific;prayers are w/victims’ families. I will cnte to follow India’s subsequent counter terrorism op closely

Another Congressman Pete Olson, from Texas, who is a vice chair of House Energy and Power Committee tweeted,
Our sympathy & support go out to #India as they work to counter the terrorism they faced in the #UriAttack.

A senator Jeff Flake from Arizona said
Condolences to the victims of last week's terrorist attack on the Indian Army base in Kashmir. We stand with #India fighting terrorism.

The United State have already agreed the attack on Indian Army base in Uri was a terror attack and has condemned the same.
According to the Indian Army, it had carried out surgical strikes on terrorist camps in the night between September 28-29 and destroyed seven launchpads of the terrorists. Army added that all these terrorists were in efforts to infiltrate into the Indian territory to carry terror activities.
The Indian-American community had raised a petition under ‘We The People’ initiative started by the Obama Administration to declare Pakistan a state sponsor of terrorism, earlier. The petition has got humongous response. Over 410,00 people have already signed the petition and the organizers of the petition are expecting the signatures from over a million people.
