In a surprising incident, a chicken has been arrested by the UK Police, while it was trying to cross road in the middle of the rush hour.
Reports said that Police in East Marketgait, Dundee, were called after the bird was spotted wandering across the tarmac in the middle of the rush hour. A driver spotted the endangered hen and reported the police.
Tayside Police Division has been quoted by a leading daily as saying, “The chicken was giving the passing motorists cause of concern.”
Police said, “Police are appealing for any information as to why the chicken was crossing the road.”
Tayside Police have also published a post on Facebook to find the owner of the chicken.
In the post, Police have said, “The Scottish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SSPCA) has been contacted and will be attending to take care of the chicken until the owner is traced.”
