After the political parties are protesting against the film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, over the presence of the Pakistani actor Fawad Khan, filmmaker Karan Johar had to face another issue by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) as it chopped off the lovemaking scene between the two lead stars of the film, Aishwarya Rai Bacchan and Ranbir Kapoor.

Media reports said that the film has managed to get the U/A certificate after chopping off the steamy scenes between the lead characters.

A source has been quoted by the leading daily on the issue, as saying, “Karan Johar personally attended the censor viewing of his film. He wanted to make sure not a single moment was tampered with. However the censor board members, while appreciating the film's mature theme and high level of aesthetics, objected to some steamy moments between Aishwarya and Ranbir.”

Reports said that Karan Johar insisted to retain the scenes, but the CBFC officials refused the filmmaker’s demand and chopped of the bold scene in the film as well as shown in film’s trailer.

Earlier, Baar Baar Dekho, Udta Punjab had also faced similar treatment by the CBFC. On the other hand, MS Dhoni The Untold Story was passed without a single cu by the board, making it a long movie of 3 hours 20 minutes.
