Whats App web version for iPhones out now

WhatsApp launched its web client for Android users, almost eight months after WhatApp Web finally arrives for iPhone users. The iOS version of WhatsApp for Web will now work with Safari on the Mac computers.

To avail this service, one will have to reach the WhatsApp Web website and scan the QR code on the desktop with the the mobile app. However, this feature has not been rolled out to all the users and will be available in phases.

The latest update saw several features for iPhone such as the option to mute an individual chat, mark a conversation as read or unread, location sharing and backup videos.
Other features such as auto loading of older messages were also added along with better support for VoiceOver.

The Whats App for Web is now available for Android, BlackBerry, Windows Phone, iPhone, Nokia S40 and Nokia S60. Furthermore, WhatsApp for Web was also updated. The update featured some mobile-like options including more control over group conversations and individual chats.

However, officials confirmed that users will now see more options in the browser version too. The first relief being, you can edit your profile photo and status message. With some UI tweaks included in this update, the Settings option will now show overflow for chats, allowing users to archive and delete chats. Added to this the users can also archive, mute and exit group chats.

While iPhone users can heave a sigh of relief they seem quite excited to try out the new client too!
