Story

Budhia Singh: Born to Run is the story of Odisha’s wonder boy Budia Singh who has taken the country by storm during 2005-06. After being sold by his mother, Sukanti (Tillotama Shome), for 800 bucks to a bangle maker, Budhia’s life could have been a hell as a lifetime slave. What changed his life was, popular Judo coach Biranchi Das (Manoj Bajpayee). This man runs a school for orphans and the rest of the film is how he showcases the talent of Budhia Singh. Analysis

The first half of Budhia Singh: Born to Run has been realistic to the core and it has been narrated with utmost passion. The entire film has been meaningful and the performances by the lead actors has been stupendous. The presentation of the film raises no questions as has been framed perfect and interesting. On the whole the first half of Budhia Singh: Born to Run has been interesting and appealing throughout.

The second half of the film has a different story as it showcases the other side of the story. However the film has been extremely convincing and lives up to the core. The emotional content along with the realistic episodes have been presented in the best way and the climax of the film has been quite interesting. On the whole the second half of Budhia Singh: Born to Run impresses to the peaks.

Performance

Manoj Bajpayee has been stupendous in the role of Biranchi Das and he delivered out his best for the film. He has been presented well in the role and he has been outstanding. Budhia Singh, the kid too has done a decent job and he has been running throughout. All the actors have been decent and impressive.

The story of the movie has been interesting and it has been never touched even after the audience witnessed many biopics. The screenplay has been decent and the dialogues have been well written. The music and the background score have been decent and well suited. The production values of Budhia Singh: Born to Run have been good and the director has been outstanding with his presentation skills.
