Usain Bolt Led Jamaica Wins Gold In 4x100m Relay

Team Jamaica helped the fastest man on earth Usain Bolt to win his ninth Gold medal in Olympics as they won the finals of 4x100m baton relay event at Rio Olympics 2016.

Bolt, who accepted the baton in the final leg, had not comfortable advantage, although he won the race by two or three meters. Jamaican team finished their race in 37.27 seconds ahead of Japan (37.60s) and Canada (37.64s). The USA team which actually finished before the Canadians, when they were disqualified due to baton change outside the box.

Usain Bolt, who has announced his retirement after the world champion in 2017, has won the ninth gold medal in Olympics and third in Rio Olympics.

Earlier, he had won 100m, 200m and 4x100m events with gold medals at Beijing     in 2008 and at London in 2012.

Usain Bolt now has finished his journey in Olympics with equaling the record of winning nine golds in athletics of US sprinter and jumper Carl Lewis and Finnish long-distance runner Paavo Nurmi.
