Hyderabad Youth Brutally Murdered In United States

According to the reports, a Hyderabad based 24-year-old youth, who was working for a tech company in Austin, has been stabbed to death by his flatmate at their apartment on Monday night.

The Austin police has arrested the attacked who has been identified as Kurremula Sai Sandeep Goud, a 27-year-old youth, who also belongs to Hyderabad. The victim is also identified as Gundam Sankirth.

Sankirth’s father, who is working as a supervisor in government primary health center at Bhoodan Pochampally in Nalgonda district, said that his family received the news of his Sankirth’s murder on Tuesday morning from the relatives at his flat in Quary Oaks apartment complex in North Austin. He said, “We came to know about the death only later. We do not know what exactly happened. My son recently got a H1B visa. Our relatives in the US are going to hospital to find out more details.”

Sankirth’s relative Ajay told a leading daily, “"We know that Sandeep is from Hyderabad and just 10 days ago he joined Sankirth in the flat through a consultant. He might also be a software engineer. We came to know that Sandeep assaulted Sankirth with a kitchen knife.”

While the exact reason for the murder is still not disclosed, according to Sankirth’s family members and friends said that Sandeep used to tease him for his frail body and and used to advise him to go gym.

Reports said, Sankirth, a B Tech graduate from MVSR Engineering College in Nadargul went to US to pursue MS in computer science, two and half years ago. After finishing his course he took a job at IT firm in Austin. Sankirth’s one other friend, Praneeth who had came to his flat to live from Dallas for few days and who was present at the flat when assault happened, told a leading daily, “Sankirth recently started working on a state government project.”
