Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor were once in relationship for almost 4 years and they were talk of B-town, but as the chemistry in real life didn't work, Kareena Kapoor married Saif Ali khan. Their onscreen chemistry in Imtiaz Ali's 'Jab We Met' is outstanding and it has been the biggest blockbuster in 2007.

Haider actor Shahid Kapoor has been roped in Abhishek Chaubey directional venture ‘Udta Punjab’ and the latest buzz is that Shahid’s ex beau Kareena Kapoor also been roped for the film. However, Kareena and Shahid will not romance in the film as Alia Bhatt will be playing the female lead role in this thriller.

Abhishek Chaubey who has earlier directed ‘Ishqiya’ and ‘Dedh Ishqiya’ will be directing this film, this thriller is based on the drug dealing mafia in Punjab. This film is slated to go on floors in January 2014. The movie is being made under Vishal Bharadwaj’s production, who has earlier worked with Kareena and Shahid in different projects.
