Pakistani Cricketer turned politician Imran Khan has admitted his recent marriage with Reham Khan and has slammed the exaggerated curiosity over his wedding. On New Year’s Eve, he tweeted “The reports of my marriage are exaggerated”. Reham Khan, the 41-year old divorced is a former BBC presenter for a regional news programme “South Today” and is a mother-of-three.

Imran Khan and his first wife Jemima Khan got divorced in 2004. Jemima has two sons with Imran khan and has dropped out Khan from her last name after being separated from the former Cricketer. However, Jemima Goldsmith is very happy about her ex-husband’s second marriage. That’s not it; she even wished the newly wedded well. Thank you so much to all those Pakistanis who have sent me such lovely messages over the last few days. I am really touched and I hope Imran will be happy in this new phase of his life, she quoted.

But it seems the Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf founder is not able to convince everyone. His sister Aleema spoke to the Daily Mail, a British Publication on the news and has revealed that she is unlikely to meet Imran’s new wife and Mr. Khan has denied the allegations on his relationship with the family members in the past.

When asked, Imran Khan responded that he is going to Pakistan to share the good news of their marriage with the nation. He even added that there is nothing to hide and he had not committed any crime. He says he is ready to confront any kind of situation regarding the marriage. He pointed that marriage is about two individuals and regardless of the gender, everybody has a right to marry he/she wants.He assures that his two teenage children (with his former wife) are his first priority and there is no question of neglecting them for his new wife.
