Indian-Americans Filed White House Petition To Declare Pakistan A Terrorist State

The Indian-American community in USA has filed a White House petition to declare Pakistan a state sponsor of terrorism, after the US strong US lawmakers tabled in this regard in the US Congress.

The petition said, “This petition is important to the people of United States of America, India and many other countries which are continuously affected by Pakistan sponsored terrorism.”

The initiative was started by US President Barack Obama, “We The People”, which allows the US citizens to campaign before the administration on a particular issue.

The petition required 1,00,000 signatures to qualify for the response from the Obama Administration.

Earlier, the US lawmakers Ted Poe and Dana Rohrabacher had moved the bill in US Congress to declare Pakistan a state sponsor of terrorism. The bill has been sent to the Foreign Affairs Committee for necessary action.
