Indian Army Launches Brutal Fire Assault At LoC; Kills 12 Pakistanis

After the Indian Army vowed to give a strong response to the killing of three Indian Army soldiers, including the beheading of one, The Army launched brutal fire assault against the Pakistani posts in the Machil sector of the North Kashmir on Wednesday and killed 3 Pakistani Army officials, including one top gun, along with 9 civilians.

Pakistan has confirmed the killing of its three soldiers, Captain Taimoor Khan, Havaldar Mushtaq Hussain and Lance Naik Ghulam Hussain. Pakistan has also said that 9 civilians have been killed in the firing by the Indian Army and nine others have been injured when the Indian firing targeted a bus on the Neelam Valley road in Dudhnial Sector in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

According to the reports, the workers of the Kishanganga Dam Project also received the fire shots and they had to find the shelter to save themselves. Reports said that villages of Kanzelwan, Kufri as well as Malikpora also received the firing. However, no loss of life was reported.

After launching the counter attack, Ministry of Defense informed that Lt. General Ranbir Singh, Director of Military Operations spoke with his Pakistani counterpart Major General Sahir Shamshad Mirza on the request of Pakistan for unscheduled talks on hotline.

The Ministry said that the Indian DGMO has expressed grief of the loss of civilian lives but also said that the Indian firing was formulated to target only those Pakistani posts from where the violation of ceasefire occurred. The Indian DGMO also expresses concern over killing of three Indian solider and mutilation of the dead body of one.

According to the media reports, Pakistan DGMO, in the statement, has said that its army reserved the right to respond at the time and place of its choosing, same like the Indian DGMO said after the Uri Attacks and carried surgical strikes on terrorist launch pads across the Line of Control in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

Since the surgical strikes, 279 incidents of ceasefire violation has occurred on the international border in which 12 civilians as well as 12 soldiers have recorded as killed.
