Sonia Gandhi's campaign for the Delhi Assembly elections will commence today

Congress president Sonia Gandhi is said to start her campaign on Thursday for the forthcoming Delhi Assembly elections on the occasion of 125th birth anniversary of India's first Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and the function is going to be held at Talkatora Stadium. Rahul Gandhi the Congress vice-president will also be addressing the party workers at the function. Though the election schedule has not yet been announced the party has started preparations for the polls a bit early this time.

On Wednesday, Mukesh Sharma the Delhi Congress spokesperson said the senior party leader will motivate and boost up our party workers and our party will be giving a tough fight to the opposition party BJP in the elections.

Delhi Congress chief Arvinder Singh said, "We are ready to put our best efforts in the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections. It is true the party performed poorly in the Assembly and Lok Sabha elections but our vote share has increase. Arvind Kejriwal-led party has failed on all fronts and could not meet the expectations of the common man."
