Hizbul Mujahideen Ready To Welcome Kashmiri Pandits But Not Cops

Jammu and Kashmir separatist militant organization Hizbul Mujahideen has said that they are ready to welcome Kashmir Pandits back home but has threatened to kill the cops who would join their duties in the restive valley.

Introducing a new face Riyaz Naikoo, Hizbul, in a freshly released video, has asked the Jammu and Kashmir cops to sit at their home like all the other government officials of different department and has favored the homecoming of the Kashmiri Pandits.

Naikoo said, “Kashmir Pandits should prove which mujahedeen forced them out of valley. It was a conspiracy of Jagmohan (governor or J&K in 1990) but Allah did not let it succeed. Jagmohan's plan was when pandits will leave they will eliminate Kashmir Muslims like Amritsar Muslims and then bring the migrants back. Allah thwarted his conspiracy and the Pandits became his victims.”

By asserting that if the migrants want to come back they will welcome them, Naikoo said, “There is always a place for them in our hearts. They are part of our nation. We are their protectors and not their enemies. Did anyone force out any Kashmiri Pandit and Sikh who live here? Did anyone kill them?”

He has threatened the Jammu and Kashmir police officials to sit at home and welcomed their killing if they join the duty. He said, “We urge policemen to sit at home like the government employees of other departments. Those cops who will join their duties will not be spared. Their fate will be nothing but death.”

Riyaz Naikoo, a college graduate, is one of the most wanted militant commanders in south Kashmir. He is also wanted by the security forces for several militancy-related cases.

Introduced by the close aid of the slain commander Burhan Wani, Zakir Bhat, spurring the speculation that he might have replaced Burhan Wani.
