There would be certain films, particularly in Indian Cinema, that are being remade in other languages. This we call a 100% remake, as the song sequences, the characterizations, even the take off of the film and the climax of the film are same as that of the original one. Just because of the star cast is not familiar in the language that film is being remade, the film rather being dubbed is remade. But, there are many such films that worked positive even when remade in other languages. One such film, ‘Force’ is being remade from the Tamil flick ‘Kakkaa… Kakkaa’ that has been remade in Telugu close to a decade back. Now, did the audience liked ‘force’ or they were forced to sit in the theaters, to know, read further;

Story:

‘Force’ is the story of a Police Office, who believes in the guts of the Police department, tries to kill the evil that is demolishing the morals of the society. He, along with his team, almost puts an end to the criminals. In this process, he also falls in love with a teacher, so this lady with him. Then how their story did take a turn. Who would play the villain in diminishing their peace? Will this officer succeed in putting a check to this ‘problem’? Or would end up loosing the battle? You are supposed to see the same on the Silver Screen.

Analysis:

Except the take off of the film and capturing certain sequences, there is not much of a difference from that of an original version to that of this remade version. These days, looks like B – Town is very much keen in remaking the popular south Indian films, that too the stories that run around the Police officers. Recent success, ‘Singham’ proves this statement. Even ‘force’ is more or less; the story line is about the sincere Police Officer, who works on putting an end to all the prevailing crime by some culprits in the society today. The editing and the Music are the highlight of the film. The direction was up to the mark as it holds the audience to their seats itself. The dialogues are more natural and the songs sequences are more naturally captured.

Performance:

The performance of John Abraham as a Police officer is a change over from the regular roles he does. John did his best to fit into the role and his looks, body language and his performance complemented to the success of the film. Geneilia shed her regular ‘bubbly’ image and played more of a matured woman’s role. All the other artists did their best as well. Mohnish Behl, Raj Babbar, Vidyut Jamwal performed as per their roles. The music scores for some songs by Harris Jayraj and some others by Lalit pandit, showed their variation. The direction by Nishikant Kamat was up to the mark. Over all the film is worth to watch.

Final Word:

‘Force’, does not ‘Force’ to you to watch the film!
