Story :

The story of 'Bullett Raja' seems very similar to 'Sholay'. Raja Mishra (Saif Ali Khan) and Rudra Pratap (Jimmy Shergill) are best friends (like Jai and Veeru in Sholay). They are both educated and turn into gangsters by chance, sucked into the violent, caste-ridden UP politics. Raja's love interest in the film is Mitali (Sonakshi Sinha). Ram Babu Shukla (Raj Babbar) is a minister who kills his enemies and treats his friends with finesse. The action starts when the star buddies meet Bajaj (Gulshan Grover), a powerful financier who's illtreats the duo. To avenge their insult Bajaj gets kidnapped. Revenge follows conspiracies, lots of bang-bang and some jokes.

Analysis :

The film has a lot of ingredients packed into it. There is action, romance, comedy and everlasting-friendship all packed into one. 'Bullett Raja' is a racy ride into the cynical world of politics where killing an opponent is the done thing. The foes talk through the pistol - bang-bang and the matter is settled. In between there are some LOL jokes, that makes the film watchable.

Performance :

'Bullett Raja' has tight performance seen in Saif's clenched-jaw comedy, while Shergill is intense and funny. Vidyut Jamwal's flying kicks and wavy hair make the landscape of Uttar Padesh, all the more hot. Sonakshi is pleasant like always, while Babbar and Grover get into their roles with conviction.

Final Word:Dark, sweet, yet bright. Go watch 'Bullett Raja' if you love to hear the pistol-bangs in the dark.
