Alone review

Story :

The story revolves around conjoined twins Anjana and Sanjana played by Bipasha Basu. The twins have same taste in almost everything and they share some special bond among themselves. One day a guy called Kabir (Karan) walks into their lives, whom both the sisters apparently fell in love with. However, Kabir loves Sanjana and this makes the twins torn apart physically through a surgery. In this bargain, Anjana loses her life and Sanjana flies away happily with Kabir after marriage.

A few years later, Sanjana’s mother meets with an accident and the couple returns to see her. This is when Sanjana experience hallucinations followed by some spine tingling incidents. Finally Kabir takes help of his psychiatrist friend and discovers a secret that is shocking and horrific. What happens next is the crux of the movie.

Analysis :

Alone

The movie was shot in exotic locations of Kerala. Backwaters of Kerala was shown beautifully. The movie pleases diehard fans of this form of entertainment with creaking doors and especially with lot of flesh and bold scenes. But those who expect paranormal thrillers will find nothing in this film. The biggest turndown of the movie is that the plot of the movie is very predictable.

Performance :

Alone-review

Karan is good on screen with excellent physique. On the other hand Bipasha Basu, a well-known B-town beauty sizzle the screen with her flaunting body. The Chemistry between Karan and Bipasha is awesome. Coming to performance, Karan simply followed the script and looks okay as a starter. Bipasha Basu too has shared a good screen presence.

However, director Bhushan Patel of Ragini MMS fame has to take the blame as he weaved nothing new in the film. He has offered nothing new in this stereotype movie.

Final Word: The movie is good for one time watch as it serves good amount of sex and horror. But if you are a hardcore horror fan, the flick is a big no.
