Most of the students are committing suicide now- a -days for not getting a dream or desired job for their qualification. On Tuesday a final year IT student from Jadavpur University in Kolkata has died hanging himself.

Manish Ranjan has appeared for campus selections and was not selected for the job, later he was found hanging from the ceiling in his hostel room.

Samiran Chatterjee the university's IT head said IANS “He was a brilliant student and wanted to get placed with Amazon or Microsoft. But unfortunately, he could not find placement with either of them. He seems to be very disappointed and it was very unfortunate to hear this news.

The information has been passed to the student’s family and due to the depression of not getting a desired job most of the students are committing suicide, said a police.
