Cyber Police Arrested Two People From Jharkhand As An ATM Racket Busted

Bidhannagar Police’s Cyber Team has successfully managed to capture an ATM racket and arrested two people in connection with the ATM fraud cases registered at Jamtara in Jharkhand.

According to Police, one of the accused Saddam Hossain, captured by Bidhannagar Cyber Police had been presenting himself as a banker to various people and used to ask vital information about their credit and debit cards and their bank accounts by taking them into confidence. Hossain had robbed Rs. 1.12 lakh of Shankar Bose by extracting necessary details from him, according to police.

In another case, the thief managed to rob Rs. 55,000. Police have arrested Ram Vikas Turi in connection with the case. Police said that the devices used in robbing the victims in both the cases including pass book and ATM cards have been taken into custody.

Police said that various youths has been associated with vicious activities in the area and police are investigating the matter further.
