According to the reports, much awaited voice mail and call back features have been added to WhatsApp. However, the features are currently available on its Android app only and will be available in its beta version app which is currently not available on Google Play store.
The popular instant messenger WhatsApp’s beta version 2.16.189 has added two features under the call log section of the app, reports said. The three symbols will be seen if a user fails to attend a WhatsApp call. Reports added that the other person need not have a particular version of the app.
A user can record a voice mail by simply tapping and holding the voice mail icon and when the call appears user can press on voice mail which will show up a regular voice mail to the caller, while through the call back option, the user WhatsApp-call back the caller. Both the functions are easy to handle as well as to understand as both appears on a same screen.
To download the said version of the app, users will need to manually download the apk file from the APKMirror website and need to install it in the device. The version is still not available on either Google Play store or WhatsApp’s official website.
