WhatsApp Added A New Font In The App; Here’s How To Use It

A popular instant messaging service WhatsApp has added a new font in its beta version app 2.19.179, which is available to download on Google Play store under its beta program. Reports said that the feature is spotted by iOS beta users.

Now, the WhatsApp users will be able to use a new font while sending and receiving the messages to or from individuals and groups. The Font named as FixedSys is similar to the Windows font of the same name.

However, it will not be easy for users to use this font in the app. To use this feature, user will need to type every message in between the three backquote symbol (`). So of you want to write Morningcable in FixedSys font, you will have to type ```Morningcable``` on your screens. Additionally, the font will not go with other features such as bold, Italic and strikethrough.

WhatsApp has been trying to add many features to it app in recent days. It has added a feature in the app where you are now able to send a reply to a specific message. Apart from that, it is constantly working in adding GIF support to its iOS app.
