The leading messaging app, WhatsApp has got a new feature called as Quotes and Replies, through which users can quote messages and reply. The feature was added to the beta version of the app recently but now the option is available to almost all people downloading the app through Google Play Store and the iOS app store for both the platforms Android and iOS.

Due to the feature now users can send messages quoting the previous message and replying to an individual user or in a group with replying a new comment of yours. To use it, you’ll have to press longer on any message and the reply option will be seen at the top alongside star, delete, forward and copy options.

After tapping the reply button the quotes message will appear in grey box and you can reply to that message below it.

With around 1 billion active users currently, Facebook-owned messaging service, WhatsApp has been adding various new features to its database on a steady pace. Recently, its version for desktops on Windows 10 and OS X has bee launched.The company is testing on a video calling support as well as the GIF image sharing support has also been added.
