In the new version, WhatsApp has enabled new front-facing flash, which has introduced white flash-like effect on the screen when taking selfies for better low-light photography. Both these features, which are currently available in beta mode, are exclusively usable with WhatsApp camera app and not with smartphone camera.

To use these features users either need to register for Google Play beta testing program for WhatsApp and then download the latest build from the store or you can download the signed APK file from APK Mirror.

WhatsApp has been adding various new features in its app to make it more user-friendly. The company is looking forward to launch video calling as well as GIF image support features.
