Manmohan Singh is politically impotent: Bal Thackeray

Reacting to the Time magazines cover note that stated Manmohan Singh as an 'underachiever', Shiv Sena leader, Bal Thackeray called Manmohan Singh “politically impotent.” He also called out for a revolution against him across the country.

He also stated that Time Magazines statement doesnt make a person big or small but it was just carrying out its business.” Time earlier stated that Narendra Modi was the most hated Indian politician but that wasn't true; he was hated only by the anti-hindutva believers,” he added.

He said, “Manmohan Singh was already targeted by the local media since a long time, now he is being scrutinized and criticized by the international media too.”

Thackeray opined that it is high time Manmohan Singh and Sonia Gandhi, leader of Congress should abnegate their positions and allow an able politicial who is capable of fighting the corruption, financial problems, terrorosm and other forces that have been troubling and hindering the growth of the nation. He also stated that such cpabilities were possessed by Shivrai of Shiv Sena and that they would lead India in the right direaction.

He indirectly digged at Prithviraj Chauhan, the Maharashtra's Chief Minister by calling him a copy of Manmohan Singh. He questioned if Maharashtra wasa ready for it, exuberating confidence for the 2014 assembly elections.
