Bollywood's veteran actor Dara Singh has passed away after battling with life for a week.  He was 84. The doctors at Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai, where he underwent treatment, confirmed the news this morning. Dara Singh was shifted to the hospital on Saturday after his health detoriarated. He was kept on ventilator and even dialysis was conducted on him. It may be noted that Dara Singh suffered cardiac arrest and brain damage last week.

Dara Singh's close friends and Bollywood legends, Dharmendra, Farah Khan and Raza Murab visited Dara Singh when he was at the hospital.  Dara Singh entered Bollywood in 1960. He received critical appreciation for his portrayal of Hanuman in Ramayan television series.
