Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming film Padmavati has created a lot of buzz in the industry before its release. Although reports has confirmed that Sanjay Leela Bhansali has signed Ranveer Singh as Sultan Allauddin Khilji and Deepika Padukone as beautiful and powerful Padmavati, the film also has Shahid Kapoor as Raja Raval Pratap Singh.

If the reports are to be believed, Shahid Kapoor has firstly asked the filmmaker to make his role as strong as Ranveer Singh as he is performing the second lead in the movie which Sanjay Leela Bhasali happily did.

Now according to the latest reports, Shahid Kapoor has also demanded a huge pay cheque for playing Deepika’s husband in the movie.

A source told an entertainment website, “Shahid will be paid around Rs 8-10 crore for Padmavati which is the highest he has got till date.

Usually Sasha gets paid around Rs 6-7 crore, but for this film he is getting a higher amount and the reason behind it is that he is playing the second lead. Also there was no other actor who was ready to play the role of Raja Raval Ratan Singh and SLB was left with no option but to pay this huge amount to Sasha.”

It was surprising that Sanjay Leela Bhansali agreed to the conditions put in by Shahid Kapoor so easily and it would be very exciting to see all the stars in the same movie.
