After Shahid Kapoor, Sushmita Sen Receives BMC Notice For Mosquito Breeding

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) is working strongly against mosquitoes and any vector-born diseases to prevent spreading of it in city. Earlier, BMC had sent notice to actor Shahid Kapoor after the officials found mosquito breeding spots at his residence during the inspection.

Now the another Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen has received the notice from BMC after the officials found mosquito breeding spots at her Khar residence in suburban Mumbai.

Reports added that the officials were tying to conduct an inspection in her house, but had to turn away as Sushmita Sen was not available.

According to a BMC official, Sen has been sent a notice under section 381B of the MMC Act, under which she could be prosecuted and Metropolitan Magistrate can even levy a fine of up to Rs. 10,000.

Earlier on Friday, the BMC officials had conducted an inspection of Sushmita Sen’s apartment on the topmost floor of the building.
